Foster relationships with WKU-Glasgow, SKYCTC & local high schools to build a work-ready workforce that meets local employer's needs.

About Henry
Henry Royse grew up in Glasgow, a product of Glasgow City Schools and Western Kentucky University. He is a graduate of Glasgow High School (1975) and earned his degree in Mass Communications from WKU in 1979. He credits the many hometown ‘perks’ that have influenced his life as his inspiration to serve as mayor. Royse is a career broadcaster serving the community of Glasgow for 35 years.
The many years he has been involved in promoting local events like chili suppers, fundraising raffles, fall festivals, the Highland Games, the Plaza theatre, sports championships, and Christmas Parades give him a unique perspective on understanding the community.
